Barry Kass presents: “Stone Age Warwick” Exhibit and Archaeology Clinic

“Stone Age Warwick” Exhibit and Archaeology Clinic
The Albert Wisner Public Library will host a major exhibit of local Native American Artifacts beginning on Sunday, January 24, with a free “archaeology clinic” to help identify your finds from 1-3 PM. The exhibit in the Wisner Local History Room features “typed” projectile points showing continual occupation of the
area by successive cultures from 10,000 years ago to the Woodland period. Also featured will be a selection of artifacts from the Jack Webster collection. Archaeologists Barry Kass and Brad Phillips will be on hand for the “clinic” from 1-3 that day to help identify your finds. The exhibit will be open during library open hours through February. Email or call the library’s reference desk for more information or to register for the clinic: warref@rcls.org, 986-1047 ext. 3.
