Chapter visits Dutchess Quarry Caves

Orange County Sheriff's Patrol provides security.

Chapter President & guide, Kevin Storms, prepares the first group for departure.

Billy Sandy (in yellow) leads a group to the caves.

Examining Cave #1.

David Johnson pointing out a solution cavity in entrance of Cave #1.

Transversing from Cave #1 to Cave #8.

Kevin discusses significance and finds of Cave #8.
Flint napping demonstration.

Launching a spear with the aid of an atlatl.  (We need a lot more practice before any game needs to worry.)

The tour started in light rain which subsided resulting in a nice, cool tour.  Not too hot - not too cold.
