Florist site dig 5/30 CANCELED

Hi folks, if anyone interested in or planning to come out and dig tomorrow (Sunday, 5/30), we will not be meeting to dig! I had planned on it and while the weather will be nice, it is a holiday weekend and think that we should take the weekend to remember our vets, spend time with family and friends and most importantly TAKE IT EASY! Sorry for any inconvenience and plan that next weekend we will be back out there, as well as every Sunday to follow unless I otherwise specify. Thank you to those that have come out so far and I hope to see everyone soon!

President’s Message:

I am pleased to report our chapter is planning a variety of activates that will carry us through the July and August. These activities include a picnic, trip to Foxwoods museum, flintknapping and the Florist site. The officers and I hope you can participate in these events. Each of these events is discussed separately below. Very favorable comments continue to come in regarding the state conference. It appears it was one of the most successful in recent years. If I don’t see you during the summer I hope you have a wonderful summer.

I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events.
