Dave Johnson discussed his recent work in the American Southwest. His talk focused on the relationships of the "Great Houses," Kivias, Chacoan roads, and other features of Chaco Canyon and surrounding areas to astronomical alignments, geology, aquifers, and subsurface bedrock fracture systems with the oral histories and beliefs of the indigenous Hopi and Navajo cultures.
