Hi folks, if anyone interested in or planning to come out and dig tomorrow (Sunday, 5/30), we will not be meeting to dig! I had planned on it and while the weather will be nice, it is a holiday weekend and think that we should take the weekend to remember our vets, spend time with family and friends and most importantly TAKE IT EASY! Sorry for any inconvenience and plan that next weekend we will be back out there, as well as every Sunday to follow unless I otherwise specify. Thank you to those that have come out so far and I hope to see everyone soon!

- If you are willing to drive how many people can you take in your vehicle.

We will be finishing the last two to three squares at the Washingtonville Site on Sunday, June 6th starting at 9 am. Please try to car pool if possible so that we minimize the number of vehicles along the road. Please bring tools and label them

Every pit has yielded artifacts and we have only surveyed a small portion of the site, so far!
This partial point discovered by Fred was the "Find of the Day."

Following reports on last month's very successful State Conference that we were privileged to host, President Dave Johnson turned the podium over to Prof. Ellie McDowell-Loudan, SUNY Cortland, who presented a lively talk about the Miller Site located near an old meander of the East Branch of the Tioughnioga River in Cortland County, NY.
